NIGHT IN THE NBA -- November 6

Lakers 112 Denver 92 – Tough 1-2 start for the Nugs …. The Nuggets were a –24 when Carmelo Anthony was on the floor tonight. The worst of anyone on the team ….Kobe took 31 of the Lakers 82 shots …. The Lakers are benchless …. Nuggets another terrible night from 3 point range. This time 2 of 15 …. Earl Watson does not play again. The Sonics would love to have him and he would love to be in Seattle. The Nuggets signed him to a 5 year 29 million dollar deal to sit on the bench. That is amazing.

Golden State 83 New York 81
– The Knicks are still winless …. Jerome James started tonight. That is desperation. The Knicks were outscored by 7 points in 7 minutes. James put in 7 minutes 3 fouls and 3 reboudnds. The legend grows. …. Adonal Foyle had a great +/- game at +11, equaling Jason Richardson for Warriors best … Troy Murphy chalks up another double-double. He gets one almost every night …. The Knicks were +12 with Nate Robinson on the floor. In just 7 minutes. … Jamal Crawford played just 17 minutes and had 2 points with 3 turnovers. Crawford and Larry Brown are a bad match…. In 19 minutes Q. Richardson was a –11.

Sacramento 118 Phoenix 117
--- This was a great game. I hope you caught it on the pass. Abdur-Rahim tried to gag when he missed both free throws, but the Kings got through it. By the end he clutched up and had 23-12-7….. Miller and Adbur-Rahim combined for 15 assists. That is a sign of the Princeton offense taking effect …..All 5 Kings starters played over 40 minutes. Sacramento hadn’t played in 2 days and Phoenix was playing a back to back …. Barbosa of the Suns had the best night of his career and Boris Diaw had another good night as the Suns actually used their bench….. Peja had 33 and finally got going.

This is an exceptional blog! I'm not even an NBA fan and I couldn't stop reading. I'll be keeping tabs on this from now on.

A 2nd round pick and Flip has to get you Earl Watson. If not find out what it will take and get it done! Come on Sonics!

Why would we be able to get Earl Watson for so cheap? Do you really think that Flip has any value right now? Also, did Flip sign a new deal or the one year tender offer? If it is the latter than we can't trade him even if we wanted (just like Vlade).

I know that Denver is not playing him, but they must be getting better offers than that for him, plus I think with their injury to Nene they want big guys if they are going to trade Watson/Miller/Boykins

There has to be something we have that Denver wants. How about D-Wilk? Also I think you can trade the one-year guys if they give their consent. Vlade for anything looks like a steal at this point.

Hey if you can get Earl Watson for any of our one year players (Reggie, Flip...maybe Vlade) then I do it. I just don't think they do it.

Hopefully David won't mind me putting a bit of an add in his forum. I'll have to start including links to his night in the NBA in my daily roundup...

Were EJ,Black and myself all summer long saying they needed to do something in regards to Flip and Vlade, and bring in another pg who could play some D, but knowone listned and now look Flip is done!!! his minutes are gonna be taken over by Mateen Cleaves!! cmmon they could of had Watson but were spending there time trying to get Juan Dixon.

I mean when is Ric Sund going to admit the Swift pick was horrible!!!! I agree we might as take the losses and get what we can for Vlade/Flip. The fact that Vlades agent thinks he deserves Tayshaun Prince money is crazy!! get a ring first then we can talk..Tayshauns D on Kobe that series is what won it for them.

Luke is really pissing me off, I know the kid has talent, but something is just off this year I don't know if it's because he just got married and is gettin a little too much right now, but man he needs to get his head out of his ass or his wifes ass whichever and just play some damn ball. This kid can't make a full court pass right now. GET IT TOGETHER!!!! USE THE FORCE, SOMETHING.

DIEZEL,

fELIX DIDN'T EVEN PLAY A WHOLE HALF A SEASON. hE AIN'T DONE ANYTHING YET!!!THAT'S WHY HE DIDN'T GET A VOTE. ANYWAY WE DON'T CARE ABOUT ROOKIE OF THE YEAR WE WANT HIM TO GET CY YOUNG AWARDS WHICH MEAN A LOT MORE AND SAYS THAT HE IS THE REAL DEAL!!!!

T.O. good riddance to you. All you had to do was shut up and play and maybe your team would be in contention. Instead, they suck, you suck. and your season is over. All the football you're gonna play is gonna be on Madden NFL!!!LOLOLOLOLO!!!!!!

If the Seahawks played the colts I think that we could kick their stinkin butt right out of town. They are overrated and wopn against a battered Patriots team.
