Bulls' demand for DNA about wrong, rights: "Eddy Curry is not a thoroughbred. He's not a sheep. He's not a dog for breeding. But the Bulls seem to think that because they have offered him a $5.14 million contract, they have bought the right to force him to take a DNA test to see if his heart condition might be fatal.
They are wrong. Your DNA is a personal, private thing that cannot be purchased. If Curry doesn't want to submit to the test for the Bulls, then that's it. No test. The DNA is his. The DNA is him.
For $5 million, the Bulls are not buying Eddy Curry. They are buying Eddy Curry's services. Curry is not for sale."

This has nothing to do with Black or White. It has to do with protection of investment. No insurance company in the land will cover a contract for Curry without the test.
The Bulls have every right to ask for it, Curry has every right to deny that request and the BUlls then have every right to not offer him a contract. Pretty simple really.
Be sure of one thing. If Curry listens to his doctors and goes out and plays and drops dead...the second set of people he'll sue outside those same doctors are the Chicago Bulls.
Curry isn't the first player to have this exact same problem. Two other notables are Reggie Lewis and Hank Gathers
