THNIGS THAT YOU DIDN'T HEAR AT THE WORLD SERIES

A White Sox fan saying ..... "Boy, I wonder where we would be if we still had Jeremy Reed, Miguel Olivo and Mike Morese."

Phil Garner wondering .... "Ingaine if Jamie Moyer hadn't boycotted the trade."

Lou Pinella wondering ...."Do you think Scott Posednick can play in the bigs."

Put your additions in the comment zone.

1) (as Freddie is on the mound)..Boy those guys in Seattle sure were suckers.
2) "Win or die trying" (Sox's motto this year) would never be possible in Seattle - way too aggressive for the Seattle "Family only agenda". God forbid we had an expectation reminder on this team.

I agree with both Locke's post and Sokala's.

Off topic, I was wondering if the hoops fans here wanted to start a custom fantasy league for the Locked on Sports blog - we certainly seem to have divergent views!

The Mariners lost out on being real contenders when they had their horses a long time ago. How many times did they not do a thing at the trade deadline? They honestly can't say that they couldn't compete with the Yankees in compensation or salary during the playoff years. The team got old, they didn't develop their farm system, they overvalued their young talent to not trade them for players that could help them reach the next level, and they let those who could help them leave (Freddy, Carlos, Cammy etc. Too bad that the owner is Japanese because Ichiro should have been traded for the another big bopper and starting pitcher. Can we get Matsui or Giles? anyway no more Mariner talk for a few months please....

And Freddie says, "In your face Bryan Price...maybe you were the problem all along! Show me the ring oh great one." Let's not forget that Jenks played for the Seattle Bombers and the Seattle Mariners passed on him years ago. This entire bleep'en organization sucks. I'm so tired of the 'Family only agenda" crap.

How about them Mariners, eh? They have been winning so many rings lately...Freddy got his this year, Varitek and Lowe got theirs last year, Randy got his a few years back...oh wait, I forgot, they don't play in Seattle anymore.
Oh, but that's ok. We've got Jeremy "No Power" Reed and Michael "can't-field-can-barely-hit" Morse. I'm sure with the additions of a few players like we got in the past like World Champ Scott "Can-play-little-guitar-but-can't-play-any-baseball" Spiezio, Rich "35-HR-in-SanFran-but-none-in-Seattle" Aurillia, and Jeff "Coors-Field" Cirillo, we can contend again...in 2020.
Thank you Mariners!!
