Bynum is doing limited work-outs in the New York/ New jersey area. Their is a feeling that he has been promised by someone in the first round. The feeling that is probably a top notch team who can let him sit for a year or two.

No Nate Robinson? How far will he fall?

I am hearing Nate anywhere from 27 to 50. Most people believe that he will have a 8 to 10 year NBA career and be a good 10 to 15 minute a night player. Yet, for some reason teams aren't willing to pull the trigger on him. The thing that amazes me is if he does what most people think he would be a great plus 20 pick in the NBA draft.

If the Lakers in fact get the third pick I would assume they will be drafting one of the point guards and since Phil Jackson likes big point guards I would believe it would be Williams.

I don't get the Blazers/Lakers trade at all. First of all, if the Lakers are trading up, a Deron Williams or Chris Paul sort of PG doesn't make sense since the triangle offense uses the PG simply as a spot-up shooter. Secondly, there is nothing on the Lakers that Portland really would want that I can see other than perhaps Caron, and I don't see him being enough of an enticement to pass on a potential star player to Portland's most hated rival and for Portland to move down in the process. Finally, in moving down to #10 it's very likely Portland won't have a shot at either Gerald Green or Martell Webster--it's too far down the board.

So by virtually every possible measure a deal with the Lakers would be a horrible one for Portland. I know there is a source, but with so many smokescreens coming out of Portland right now I wouldn't be surprised if they have tentatively agreed to multiple deals for the pick at this point.

No way Ukic falls that far. He doesn't get past 18.

vasquez wouldnt workout for utah.

if boston wants ellis fine. i month ago he was lotery but now he is showing second round at draftnet and draftexpress.

i kinda wonder if some of these picks are purposeful blowing smoke at teams he doesnt like or just sloppy, not keeping up with the news.

"• One team picking in the first round is hesitant to take 19-year-old point guard Monta Ellis of Lanier (Jackson, Miss.) H.S. because of a knee injury that will require arthroscopic surgery. While it isn't a major problem, the team's doctors are concerned that it will be Ellis' second scope on the same knee, raising a flag for someone so young. "

I am fairly confident in saying that Danny Ainge would not waste the #18 pick on Monta Ellis, an extremely undersized emotionally challenged high school shooting guard suffering from the delusion that he can play the point in the NBA.Last year, with Ricky Davis, Paul Pierce and GaryPayton, the Celtics already had an excess of emotionally challenged prima donas: and at least those guys had verified NBA (All Star or near All Star at some point in their careers) talent. Ellis couldn't play the point in the high school All-Star games; moreover he blamed his team mates and coaches for his patently obvious poor performance. Most importantly, he did it while still in the midst of the game, with looks of contemptible hubris that communicated his delusional beliefs (later verified in post game interviews) that his coaches and team mates were responsible for his piss poor performance. At very best, Ellis is a much skinnier version of dejuan Wagner, with a body frame incapable of bulking up, who already has significant knee issues; and has demonstrated a knack for being a first class prima dona without demonstrable NBA (point guard) skills/ talent (plenty of high school talent). Frankly, I'm not sure why mock drafts have him in any first rounds whatsoever; and lastly, I generally am supportive of talented high school kids coming out.

I don't think the Lakers will pass on Chris Paul. He is being billed as the NEXT Isiah Thomas. With Paul and Kobe... the Lakers would have quite a backcourt for the next ten years.

The only reason Lakers are looking to move up are to acquire Green.
